Need help integrating Alcohol101+ in your LMS platform. Check out this article to learn how to do it.

Integrating Alcohol101+ into your LMS platform is done by uploading the course as a SCORM file. This article will cover what a SCORM file is and how to upload one to some of the major LMS platforms.

What is a SCORM File

SCORM stands for Sharable Content Object Reference Model and, in short, is a checklist for programmers and developers to ensure their programs can run on eLearning platforms such as Blackboard and Canvas. You can learn more about SCORM by going here or by watching the video below.

Receiving your SCORM file

To receive your SCORM file, sign in to Alcohol101+ and navigate to the "My Organization" tab. From there, click the "Edit" button at the top right, then scroll down until you see the "Are you planning on using this program in an LMS?" Toggle this option to yes as pictured below. Once this option has been selected, please reach out to us at alcohol101plus@responsibility.org to receive your SCORM file.

Uploading your SCORM file

While uploading a SCORM file can be relatively simple, we suggest having your IT person or LMS person handle the upload to ensure there are no issues that would prevent students from taking the course on your LMS.

Below are some helpful resources for uploading SCORM files to major LMS platforms.
